My Story In A Nutshell

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

aboutme2.jpgWelcome to HappyAsianGuy. To see why this site is named HappyAsianGuy, read my first ever blog here. For those who want to know all about me, continue reading…

I live in sunny Southern California and by most standards I lead a very blessed and happy life. I have a great family, awesome dog, cool friends, and a loving family. Add to that equation an occupation (entrepreneur) that I absolutely love and what more can a guy ask for? Well, one thing that’s been lacking in my life is a trim physique. I’m not looking to be Brad Pitt in “Fight Club” (although that would be nice). All I’m looking to do is stay consistently thin. In my adult years, my weight has fluctuated between 145 lbs and 192 lbs. That’s quite a large variance, don’t you think? Well, I definitely think it’s huge and it’s time I do something about it particularly since I’m now on the upper end of the weight range.

aboutme.jpgAt the inception date of this website, I weighed in at approximately 185 lbs. My goal is to lose 20-25 lbs in the very near future…preferably by summer time. I created HappyAsianGuy to share my experience with all of you…to educate, inspire, and share my struggles and, hopefully, my triumps as well. In between, I’ll also write about my life outside of dieting – my family, my work, and all the random thoughts that I think would entertain the general public.

So sit back, relax, and read about the story of a HappyAsianGuy gone skinny (fingers crossed)…

I’m considering the Nutrisystem program, however, I’m not sold just yet. The amount of sodium in their lunch and dinner entrees is SO high, I just can’t bring myself to join. How’s your blood pressure since joining? Please email me.
