Hi everyone,
it’s been awhile but I am still around. With family and work taking up alot more time, I haven’t had the time to blog about my progress. I’m proud to say that I’ve kept off the weight I lost with Nutrisystem. Had a extra minute today at work and wanted to tell everyone that is looking to join Nutrisystem to check out their new 2008 Nutrisystem Advanced program. Here are some of the benefits of it that I got from them…
1. Your weight-loss journey just got even easier. With NutriSystem Advanced, you’ll have more food choices, including all-new foods, on your NutriSystem menu. So you can enjoy eating what you love more than ever. Plus, your NutriSystem Advanced foods feature color-coded packaging based on the meal occasion (all breakfasts have blue wrappers, lunches have green ones, dinners are red, and desserts are pink.), making it easier than ever to organize your foods and choose your meals each day.
2. You’ll get more weight-loss benefits than ever! Love carbs? (Who doesn’t?) NutriSystem Advanced still provides you with the incredible breakthrough science of the “good carb” Glycemic Advantage™. But with this program, you ALSO get a unique, heart-healthy ingredient, plus natural fiber to help you control your appetite better and curb your cravings. So not only can you still lose weight while eating your favorite foods—you’ll feel full longer, too!
3. You have more weight-loss tools at your disposal. In the brand NEW Results Kit (which comes with your first Advanced order), you’ll get a new Meal Planner complete with a 28-day Daily Diary to keep tabs of your eating; a Serving Guide, with proper portions for hundreds of foods; and a Dining Out Guide, to help you keep your weight loss in check when you go out to eat.
4. You’ll also get an at-a-glance daily meal plan summary (perfect for posting on the fridge!), complete with FAQs about your foods. Plus, we’re supplying you with exciting, NEW and exclusive tools for your body and mind: an exercise DVD (created by one of our fitness experts, walking guru Leslie Sansone, or former NFL star Vaughn Hebron) to help you with your weight loss, AND you’ll get a Mindset Makeover™ Guide to help you think differently about weight loss. Heck, we’re even throwing in an access guide to your online community, and background information about the team of experts who helped to create your new program!
Well, hope you guys consider Nutrisystem if you’re looking for a new diet program! I hope to continue posting soon! Everyone have a great holiday!

I’m officially off the Nutrisystem diet and I lost a total of 16 pounds. I was on the Nutrisystem weight loss plan for approximately 5 weeks and while it was tough it was worth every moment. I was able to shed some unwanted weight and now I’m looking to get toned. I recently joined a boxing/kickboxing/Brazilian ju-jitsu club.
Here’s a picture of the kickboxing class. I’m not pictured but I’ll post one soon. Who knows, if I get toned enough maybe I’ll post one of myself shirtless. =)

For those looking to lose weight, I’d highly recommend Nutrisystem (at least for a month or two). Lose the weight you want to lose and then tone yourself up by doing intense cardio workouts. You can do Nutrisystem and an intense cardio program at the same time but I was too lazy to do so.

Only lost one pound since last week but have lost 16 pounds overall.
Start: 185.2 lbs
End of week 1: 175.4 lbs
End of week 2: 172.6 lbs
End of week 3: 171.8 lbs
End of week 4: 170.8 lbs
I have one week worth of food left and then I have to think if I want to reorder or not. If not, I’m going to start my exercise regimen. Now, that I’m trimmer I hope I can get more fit and ripped. We’ll see how that works.

Lost about 2 pounds this past week and my total weight loss from the Nutrisystem diet is about 14 pounds. Only 6-8 more pounds to go and I’ll be pretty happy. It’s officially my fourth week on the Nutrisystem diet but sometimes I eat fruits and salads (and other healthy alternatives) instead of eating my Nutrisystem meals so I still have a few weeks worth of food to go. Plus, they gave me one week free for ordering a 4 week supply so hopefully I can reach my goal of 165 lbs before all is said and done.
It’s Memorial Day this weekend. You know what that means! BBQ heaven!

I’ll be posting success stories of other Nutrisystem clients. I figure it’ll keep me motivated while relaying other people’s experience to you guys. I’m sure that not everyone who joins Nutrisystem ends up losing a whole ton of weight. I guess that’s why they always put the disclaimer “Results vary” or something like that…because, well, results will vary. Dan Marino, for instance, lost 22 lbs or so…this other woman lost over 50 pounds. I’m currently sitting at about 12-13 lbs lost but I still have a few weeks left. And if I stayed on this diet for several months, I’m sure I could lose even more.
Anyways, I’ll post about other people’s stories and hopefully it’ll inspire you to start a diet and begin your road to weight loss.

My favorite Nutrisystem food so far is either the Scrambled Eggs breakfast or the Chicken and Pasta in Cacciatore Sauce. I love breakfast so the scrambled eggs are delightful surprise. As always, I wish the portions were bigger and that they’d throw in some bacon, sausage, and pancakes. But I guess I’ll have to wait until my diet is over for that particular dish.

I haven’t lost any weight this week. Pretty much going sideways. Gain 1/2 pound here, lose 1/2 pound there…overall I’m still at the same spot I started. The week starts for me on Tuesday so it’s only been two days but still. I’ve been eating Nutrisystem bars for breakfast and lunch (instead of their regular entrees) so I would think that I’d be losing even more weight. But then again, my wife has been less strict and she lets me take a bite or two out of her meals. Hmm, maybe that’s why I’m going sideways. Like this French Dip sandwich, for instance….ummm, yummy!

I’ve been on the Nutrisystem diet plan for approximately two weeks and here are the top 5 reasons why I think dieters should choose Nutrisystem over other weight loss companies:
1) Great tasting food - surprisingly, Nutrisystem food tastes great. The portions aren’t very big but the food sure is delicious. In fact, if the portions were slightly bigger it’s something I would eat even if I wasn’t on a diet. I’m not sure what Jenny Craig meals taste like or if Zone Diet bars hit the mark but from personal experience, Nutrisystem food ranks definitely gets an “A” grade.
2) Weight loss accomplished - two weeks into the Nutrisystem diet program and I’ve lost over ten pounds. I couldn’t ask for more!
3) Do it for your health - I have to admit…going on Nutrisystem was more for aesthetic purposes (I wasn’t looking so hot as a chubby dude) but another reason to go on the Nutrisystem diet is for health reasons. You owe it to yourself, your body, and your family to be healthy. Thanks to Nutrisystem, I feel lighter and healthier!
4) Meal plans work - there are so many diets out in the market today and, in my opinion, meal replacement diets are the way to go. There are others like South Beach Diet, Weight Watchers, and others that allow you to eat whatever you want as long as you control the portions. This probably would work better in the long run but if you’re looking to shed pounds fast then meal replacement diets such as Nutrisystem is what you want to do. Just make sure you don’t gain it all back in a week. =)
5) Personal achievement - if you’ve been in a rut and want to accomplish something in your life, why not try a diet and see if you can follow through on it? You’ll not only reach your weight loss goal (hopefully), you’ll also feel a sense of personal achievement. You can do this with any diet but from my experience with Nutrisystem, they provide you with a step-by-step guide to make your diet goals easier to achieve.
Nutrisystem has worked for many clients - celebrity clients such as Dan Marino and non-celebrity folks like me. People have different reasons why they choose to diet but the most important thing is that you’ve committed to the idea of dieting and to change your way of life for the better. Good luck and happy dieting!

So I was a little bit nervous as I stepped on the scale this morning. I had eaten hearty Mexican food and downed a few Margarita’s. To my surprise, I lost a 1/2 pound compared to yesterday morning. Sweet! I only it’s only half a pound but I thought I’d gain weight…especially since I’ve strayed away from Nutrisystem a bit. Hmm, should I drop Nutrisystem and go on an all-Margarita diet. Sounds like fun!! Ha, yeah right…I’m back on the all Nutri diet today…I’m hoping to get to sub-170 by Mother’s Day. I think I can do it…but it’ll be close. I’ll wait until by Tuesday weekly weigh-in before I make any predictions.

As you know, I ate some Korean BBQ last night. Man, it was good. I avoided rice and other carb filled foods. But I couldn’t avoid Soju (Korean alcohol) and I took down about 4-5 shots. I wasn’t buzzed but I’m sure it wasn’t great for my Nutrisystem diet. It was a lot of fun hanging out at a restaurant. I’ve been getting used to the stale routine of eating at home for all 3 meals that I had forgotten how enjoyable it is to dine out.

Last night was great but this morning I was slightly scared to step on the scale. I didn’t eat as much as I would have (compared to the past)…but I probably ate a little more than I should. Luckily, it was all meat and fish so not much carbo’s to get in the way. The verdict? I gained a 1/2 pound. More swimming today!!
