Freshwater Aquarium Fish

Monday, April 16th, 2007

custom-aquarium.jpgTonight, I ate at this cool Chinese fusion restaurant. The food was great but I’m not here tonight to write about their entrees. No, the highlight of the night was this awesome freshwater aquarium fish. I have never seen anything like it. The tank must have been over 1,000 gallons and the interior design of the aquarium was amazing. The owner pretty much replicated his restaurant inside the aquarium…it was very detailed and matched the restaurant almost exactly. Everything from the tables, kitchen area, carpet (color matched the little stones on the bottom of the aquarium), lobby area…really, everything inside was a mini-size replication of the restaurant. I was absolutely amazed!

Stupid me forgot the good ol’ digital camera so I wasn’t able to get a picture. But I’m definitely going to go back so I can show you guys. In the meantime, here’s a picture of a custom aquarium in someone’s mansion. It almost makes me want to get a small freshwater aquarium fish. Maybe I can duplicate my home office.

If that were a REAL Chinese restaurant the fish in the aquarium would be the fish you eat.

Hahaha…I’d have to agree with Frank. What’s up with these Fusion wannabe places? I have to admit that the decor is really sweet though.
