Gas Over $4.00?

This gas station owner is going out of business because he says Shell has been engaging in unfair business practices and treated the “small business owner” very poorly. He’s closing up shop at the end of the month but has decided to go out with a bang. He’s pricing gas well over $4.00 in hopes that people will associate high gas prices with Shell. The Chevron across the street is in the high $3 range so he hasn’t been getting much business.
Pretty funny stuff…the only thing not funny is that gas prices will probably get this high sometime soon. Yikes!

thank goodness i am on maternity leave. i can’t afford to drive anywhere anymore. =) can’t wait to see gas prices in the summer. yikes!
This is why I happily spent $20 to fill my little Honda Civic tank, a tank that will last me over a week. I try not to be smug at the gas station when I watch SUV owners pump, and pump, and pump, and pump, but it’s hard.
time to buy a bike….
